VP Bank is one of the few private banks in Liechtenstein and Switzerland to be rated by an international rating agency. The rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) gave VP Bank an A- rating as part of the last regular review of its long-term rating. The outlook was changed from stable to negative in May 2024, as S&P assumes that the strategy can no longer be implemented as quickly and efficiently following the recent change in management.
