In a comparison of the most frequently cited economists in the major German-language media, Gitzel ranks among the top 10 in the “Economy” and “Companies/Branches” categories, securing 9th place in each case. In the overall media presence ranking, Gitzel stands out as one of the few bank economists in the top tier, coming in at number 24.
